Set by the Pons V2 factory — not ours to change
| Constant | Value | Note |
|---|---|---|
SHARD_TOTAL | 1,000,000,000 | Minted once into the curve contract. No mint function afterwards. |
SHARD_ON_CURVE | 714,285,714 | 5/7 of supply — the float |
SHARD_POOL_SEED | 204,081,633 | 10/49 — seeds the Uniswap v4 pool at graduation |
SHARD_LOCKED | 81,632,653 | 4/49 — locked permanently. The three sum to 100% of supply; there is no team allocation. |
GRAD_ETH | 4.2 ETH | Graduation trigger. Also the hard ceiling on system ETH before graduation. |
CURVE_FEE | 1% | To Pons. Never ours. |
SWAP_TAX | 3% | All-in friction on a curve trade (1% + 2%) |
Ours — curve model
| Constant | Value | Note |
|---|---|---|
CURVE_U | 2.4849 | = ln(CURVE_K). Solved so the integral over the 5/7 allocation equals 4.2 ETH |
CURVE_P0 | $0.000003321 | Launch price. Derived, not chosen — see section 03 |
CURVE_P_GRAD | $0.000039849 | Graduation price. FDV $39,849. The anchor the whole game is calibrated to |
| full-curve multiple | ×12.000 | v2.2b claimed ×19.22; v3.2 shipped ×1.917 |
ETH_FALLBACK_USD | $2,500 | Used when the price feed is unavailable. v2.2b used $3,000 |
Ours — tax routing and $YIELD
| Constant | Value | Note |
|---|---|---|
CREATOR_TAX | 2% | The only fee that reaches us |
TAX_PRODUCE | 80% | Of our 2% → fee reserve, backs $YIELD |
TAX_REWARD | 20% | Of our 2% → reward pool |
REWARD_LB / _REF / _EVENT | 50 / 30 / 20 | Split of the reward pool |
YIELD_PER_USD | 0.4695 | 1/213 of the v3.2 rate. 1 $YIELD declares $2.13 of face; a kill mints 0.0164. See §08 |
YIELD_SUPPLY_FLOOR | 7,512 | Prevents R from dividing by zero at genesis |
KILL_DROP_USD | $0.01 – $0.06 | Mean $0.035. Halved below 20% energy |
CHEST_DROP_USD | $0.80 – $2.00 | Minted as $YIELD |
RAID_CLEAR_USD_T1 | $25.00 | ×2 per tier, minted as $YIELD |
PROD_ELAST | 0 | v2.2b used 1. Drops are USD-denominated; indexing them to $SHARD double-counts |
HOLD.maintainUsdPerLv | $0.50 / level / day | Territory UPKEEP. The passive trickle (yieldPerMinUsd) was removed — see §07 |
CURVE_K | 12.0 | Price-range knob: P_grad / P0. §03 lists what other values produce |
TWAP_WINDOW_MS | 10 min | Oracle window. Sized to the 5s sample rate, not to DeFi convention |
ORACLE_CLAMP | 50% | Refuse to price when spot diverges this far from TWAP |
TICKET_ELAST / GATE_ELAST | 0 / 0 | Elasticity. 0 pins the DOLLAR cost and lets the coin quantity float. v3.2 used 1.0 (pins the quantity), which made a T1 ticket $0.25 at launch and $3.00 at graduation — see §06 |
RAID_TICKET_USD_T1 | $3.00 | ×2 per tier (0–4), hard ceiling TICKET_MAX_USD = $60, never reached |
GATE_USD / GATE_CAP_SHARD | $30 / 100,000,000 | Fixed-dollar gate; the cap binds only below $0.0000003 (a 99.2% drawdown) |
FEE_RESERVE_SEED_USD / REWARD_SEED_USD | $0 / $0 | v3.5: the pools start empty and are funded only by real creator tax. v3.2 seeded them with a projected $692 / $500 |
GATE_GRACE_DAYS | 7 | A cleared gate survives a price drop this long |
Ours — sinks and gates
| Constant | Value | Note |
|---|---|---|
GATE_USD | $30 | Dollar cost at the graduation price. 752,844 $SHARD at k=12 |
GATE_CAP_SHARD | 100,000,000 | Binds only below $0.0000003 — a 97% drawdown guard |
RAID_TICKET_USD_T1 | $3.00 | Dollar cost at the graduation price, ×2 per tier. Elastically indexed — see §07 |
TICKET_MAX_USD | $60 | Flat ceiling across all tiers (v2.2b used $60 × 2tier) |
| Territory upkeep | $0.50 / level / tick | Paid in $YIELD, burned |
| Territory upgrade | $20 + $22 × level | Paid in $YIELD, burned |
MAT_BASE_PRICE | $0.05 | Material listing, band ×0.80 – ×1.50 (≈72 mats/h of drops ≈ kill income, not dominant) |
MAT_TAX | 5% | Paid by the seller into the pools |
WITHDRAW_TAX | 6% | Burned on exit |
WITHDRAW_DAILY_CAP | 20,000 $SHARD | Per calendar day |
WITHDRAW_COOLDOWN_DAYS | 7 | Between withdrawals |
SINK_PROOF_USD_BASE | $200 | $SHARD burned via tickets before exit unlocks |
Playtest seeds — retired in v3.5
This table used to seed the two pools with $692 and $500 "so the Season 0 build has something to simulate against". That was the wrong place for a projection to live. A constant compiled into the game is not a simulation input — it is a balance, and every player who connected a wallet during the playtest was shown a reserve the protocol had not collected and a redemption rate R computed from money that did not exist.
| Constant | Value | Note |
|---|---|---|
FEE_RESERVE_SEED_USD | $0 | v3.5. Funded only by splitTax() from real 2% creator tax |
REWARD_SEED_USD | $0 | v3.5. Funded only by splitTax() from real 2% creator tax |
The consequence is stated plainly rather than hidden: at genesis R = $0, because no fees have been collected yet. That is not a broken peg. $YIELD is a share of the reserve, and before the first swap the reserve is empty by construction. It becomes worth something exactly when trading makes it worth something — and not before.
We do not publish a revenue projection. The mechanism is published instead: our revenue is the creator tax on $SHARD volume, and $SHARD volume is not a number anyone can forecast, least of all us.
